The challenge of this project was to create a character that would make Optrex products appeal to young millenials while still engage the interest of the more mature audience. Thus Captain Aye Aye was created. A digital experience would then need designed for online platforms and social media stings to promote this character
The creation of Captain Aye Aye allows a playful narrative that not only promotes the Optrex products in a way that relates to the adventurours, free spirited target audience but also allows flexibility with a diverse range of advertising routes and platform adaptations. The world itself creatively conveys the benefits of using the products, and each location along Captain Aye Ayes journey represents a different product. The world itself consists predominantly of circles linking back to the core subject, an eye. Colours used are tweaked for a fresher look and feel but core colour attributes are taken from the Optrex brand.
